Meet the Team

Omyra started in the same way that many property management companies do. Chris was a real estate agent with deep community ties developed through friendships and coaching youth sports. As he helped people sell their homes, he found that some properties that were not selling quickly were more suitable as rentals, and the trust that he developed with his clients led them to ask him to manage the homes for them. As Chris got more experience managing homes, word of mouth from the people he helped brought in referrals to the point where he was able to take the property management side gig and transform it into a full time business. We continue to build on that legacy of trust, communication, transparency, and modernize the experience with technology to provide an amazing customer service experience to both owners and residents alike.

Our mission is to help home owners achieve the best long-term financial results possible from their rentals. We do this through empathy, education, and being a capital-A Agent. What's a capital-A Agent? We act on behalf of our clients to make decisions, keep things running smoothly, and respond quickly to anything that needs attention at a rental property. Some managers just wait for things to happen, then call their clients to ask how they want to handle the situation. The problem is, their clients are busy living their lives and not particularly experienced in managing rental real estate. That's why they hired us in the first place. We believe that it is our duty to act and inform rather than ask and underperform.

The difference between Omyra and some of the larger players in town is the personalized attention that we are able to pay our clients. We are a small team who will get to know you, your communication style, and your property. We take our time to explain the why of what we do, not just the what. We help our owners take a long-term view and understand the benefits of being proactive rather than just reactive, especially when it comes to keeping the property in good repair. All tenant maintenance requests are handled by someone who has set foot in the property and knows what's going on rather than someone who is reading another person's notes or looking at years-old photos. We develop relationships with our residents and believe in treating them with dignity, fairness, and a sense of urgency. That's the difference. How much we care.

Chris Compton founded Absolutely Affordable Property Management Services,  INC in 2011 and has served as the Broker and CEO for AAPMS and later Omyra Inc. ever since.

Chris is a US Navy veteran, having served four tours of duty on aircraft carriers in the nuclear power program. He owned and operated Chris Compton Bail Bonds in Temecula, CA and has been a licensed Real Estate agent in GA since 2004, obtaining his Broker's license in 2010.

In 2024, he rode his bicycle from Miami, Florida to Seattle, Washington with nothing but a smile and a backpack. If that's interesting to you, check out his YouTube Channel for clips of the adventure.

Chris has helped over 1000 people buy, sell or rent properties in north GA  over the last decade and a half and he has the unique ability to walk you through the process with the heart of a teacher so that you can understand why the next step is the right step.

Sunshine Bon has been the Senior Property Manager for Omyra Inc. since 2017. She has been a licensed Real Estate agent in Georgia since 2018.

Sunshine has a strong background in customer service and loves helping people.

Sunshine's other interests include listening to music, singing, dancing, meditation/spirituality, holistic healing, nutrition, and competitive pinball. Sunshine has the distinct honor of being the 2020 IFPA Women's World Pinball Champion!

Adam Compton worked for Omyra (back when we were called AAPMS) from 2012 to 2017. During his time away, he was a legal operations consultant and then an HVAC service technician. He has returned as our Operations Manager and also works behind the scenes to ensure we are using the best technology, systems, and processes to provide a seamless experience for our owners and tenants alike!

His experience in HVAC gives him solid insight into home systems & construction principles and made him our maintenance go-to for coordinating repairs to protect our clients' assets and keep tenants happy while keeping costs down.

In his spare time, you can find Adam at the park with his dog, cooking, reading a book, or playing with AI software (he's kind of a nerd).
